Between meetings I took some time to check out old family artifacts
and the like.  This is a house (and the one to the right of it)  built and
occasionally lived in by my great-great-grandfather, James Kay.
And the family plot.
Being the big dog that I am, I spent the night on my
way down at the Red Roof Inn in Harrisburg, PA
On my way out of town I took a picture or two, but most of them are on
another camera.  So you will have to wait and see them as real prints.
You may also be wondering what the thin black line in all of the next few
pictures is, well, it's one of my hairs that got caught in the camera back
when I was loading the film.  Quite a bummer.
Aunts
The road to WV is paved with big trucks and fog.
Somebody in WV is rebuilding
Noah's Ark.  Good for them.
On the way back to Vermont from NYC I stopped at City
Island, the small place off of the Bronx that feels and looks just
like a small town in Cape Cod or some such place.  Weird.
Before I knew it I was back at the Holland Tunnel...
There was a burnt out car just sitting on the side of
the highway on the way out of City Island.  It looked
like it had been there for days.  Also weird.
...and the lovely Lawren.
HANGOUT TIME

Recently drove down to West Virginia for
a family board meeting.
